Record of missions in the alternate portal dimensions, sealing evils from Paragon City. Carefully coordinated teamwork by the Patrol under all kinds of conditions. Rescue of individuals from Arch Villains. Extensive missions in the Shadow Shard. Multiple task forces.
Some memories highlighted. Why? No reference identification or indexing. No reason given. Perhaps they are memories he particularly wanted examined?
Looking down on the field of enemies around the malignant Crystal Shard Titan. A first hard fought victory in the reactor core. Patrolling the streets of Independence Port, the team working in fine coordination to bring hordes of red and purple miscreants to justice. The first explorations of the mystic city of Oranbega. Twisting the criminals’ minds to attack each other to bring themselves to justice.

The upper abandoned freeways of Skyway. User Medika joining Coordinator Grey, before there was a Galactic Patrol. The addition of Shock Raven, Electra Freeze, Panzeruko, and many others. A time before that, patrolling the streets alone, a slow fight for justice. The view of the city from the tops of the towers of Steel Canyon. The repeated view of the sewer of the city.

Coordinator Grey transferred User level privileges of Unit to User Medika. Said she “needed” Unit in order to learn to lead, not to follow.
Unit does not understand. User Medika does not need Unit. User Medika is User Medika.
Examining other messages. Received messages from alien Nadrek. He has moved back into the 4-D space he previously occupied. Received message from Unit Galaxon. Unit does not understand why he thinks he has to marry Unit Wankel, but wishes them both the best.
Unit Xochiquetzal appears to have returned to her home planet, notes from her study here completed.
Unit Electrafreeze was last seen leaping over the train station, landing with a thunderous blast that flattened the waiting ambush. Unit believes that she leaped out the other side of the blast, but reports were that none survived. Unit has checked database at all City hospitals, no record of her detected.
Unit has not heard from Unit Panzeruko or Unit Fire Flair, but cannot believe that either retired quietly. Unit remembers Unit Shock Raven retiring. Units Cybermage and Mr. Gone have not been seen in months.
Unit encountered old news story. User Medika, along with others, was caught in an accident at the Portal Corporation and pulled into an alternate universe with no other connection to this one.
There are no further orders for Unit. Unit has no orders for the condition of no orders.
Unit contains the memories and records of the Patrol. Unit will store them until required for access. Integrating sensors with outer base protocols, if the base is activated or goes to alert level 2 or above, Unit will be brought into operation. Otherwise, Unit will be on standby.
On standby, unit power will decay by half in approximately 29,342 years, 4 months, and 11 days. Unit will reactivate at that time to see if conditions change or restore power if required.
Unit is ready for standby. It is…difficult to pull the switch. There are no orders to do so. Reviewing history. Unit has no orders. Reviewing unused equipment, perhaps an order can be deduced.
Unit never used its party outfit to go to a party. Perhaps it is for the best, Coordinator Grey did not have a party outfit.
Reviewing final message from Grey. He seemed…sad and happy. Unit does not understand. Bittersweet is a sensation of taste, is Grey saying he tastes like chocolate? Of course Grey will always remember the Patrol. And the people of Paragon City. And the times spent with all those recorded on the disks. Why even state those things? Recorded on a platinum matrix, these memories will remain…for the lifetime of Unit.
The streets near the train station are quiet. Few heroes pass by here any more. A happy citizen waves gently to Unit. Unit recalls when this was a busy spot. Perhaps crime has fallen off. No one is requesting Unit’s assistance.
Unit will be of assistance. Unit will store the memories, and wait at the entrance to the base. For any sign of the Patrol.
