The Archons of World of Warcraft on the Hyjal server includes some of the role players I know in Real Life, and they made me quite welcome in the fall of 2005. There are too many guild members that I’ve not yet met, much less know anything about of which to write, so this page will be devoted to the subset that I adventure with weekly: the World Walkers of Azeroth.
What has set apart the World Walkers was the conscious decision that these characters would attempt to “level up” via the Instant Dungeons. This entailed, from the very beginning, epic adventures just getting to such dungeons through territories too ferocious for low level characters normally to attempt.
The core of the World Walkers are Asgeir, Cardiff, and Lierra. Recently Aura was added to that count, in some sense replacing Earnil who was a regular in the early adventures. The fifth adventuring slot in the party has been taken by an assortment of Archons over time, albeit more often than not it has been by Carbona.
A year or so later, most of the "walkers" had "grown up" enough to move over to the parent raiding guild Trivial. Since the advent of Burning Crusade in 2007, they now explore the shattered world of Outlands.
